A peer support group for people with any and all disabilities

Access Living’s Cross-Disability Support Group (CDSG) is for people with all kinds of disabilities to teach and learn from one another. This peer support group is meant to build both community and personal knowledge.

Past meeting topics have included:

  • Employment for people with disabilities
  • Independent living resources
  • Effective self-advocacy
  • Emotional wellness 
  • Problems faced by people with disabilities, and ways to address them

Meeting Details

CDSG meets from 1 to 3 p.m. every other Tuesday at Access Living. Check the events calendar for the next meeting. To attend a CDSG meeting or to request an accommodation, please contact the Independent Living Skills Coordinator.

Interested in other peer support groups? We also offer a peer support group for nursing home survivors and a mentoring program for young people.
