Are you a person with a disability who is new to community organizing? Would like to be part of Access Living’s Chicago disability rights and disability justice organizing work?
Then, the Building Our Power Together training is for you! Spanish/español
Building Our Power Together will help you learn about the basics of community organizing from a disability point of view. You will also learn about Access Living’s community organizing in Chicago and get to know our community organizing team. The training is free! It is a five-week series. Each week, we will build on our knowledge from the week before. On graduating, students will join at least one of our community organizing groups. The training is HYBRID and will have a maximum class size of 20 students. People with all kinds of disabilities are welcome to apply.
