The Disability and Immigration Taskforce of Illinois (DITI) strives to:

  • Empower and support immigrants, refugees, and/or asylees with disabilities and their families to access culturally and linguistically appropriate services
  • Create systems change through advocacy, education, training, and sharing resources that are inclusive of all communities

Get Involved with DITI

Join the Taskforce by attending the DITI monthly meeting, either in person at Access Living or online via Zoom. Meetings are the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 10am to 12pm. Contact the Immigration and Latinx Community Organizer for details.

DITI was established by Chicago area disability and immigration advocates in the fall of 2019, with the help of national partners and the Ford Foundation.
