deCRIPtion:  storytelling and poetry workshops designed by and with disability community in mind

This month’s in-person deCRIPtion takes place at Access Living during MadMade, a Mad Print Fair, where you can meet Mad artists creating all kinds of prints, find resources for mental health, catch an artist panel – all in addition to attending our workshop: the brain is NOT a page: neurodiversity and poetics.

This worksop revels in the way neurodiverse brain loops, hums, fades, sparks, drifts and spirals. How it flashes fragments of sensation, experience, and feeling. This workshop leans into the mutable, kaleidoschopc, fluid, recursive nature of neurodivergence as a driving force through working in fragmentation within form. This workshop asks: how do we translate the brain to the page?
