Have the rising costs of prescription drugs affected you or someone you love? Come share your story and learn about advocacy efforts on prescription drug pricing in Illinois. ASL and CART captioning will be available. Access Living is a wheelchair accessible building and a scent-free environment. A personal attendant will be available. Snacks, water, and pop will be served. If you have any questions or need an accommodation not listed above, please contact Ryan McGraw by Monday, December 9th.

Through community building, networking, and cross-collaboration, Access Living’s Power to the People (PTP) advocacy group harnesses many different voices and areas of expertise to advocate for the changes that people with disabilities want and need. Find out more »Step Ahead – Peer Support Group Meeting
Step Ahead is an Access Living program and peer support group for people with disabilities who are living independently in the community. It aims to support people with disabilities who have already transitioned out of nursing homes as they further develop their independent living skills. Participation is open to all. **Please contact the Independent Living Skills Trainer in advance to meeting dates, as some meetings take place at various locations in the community. **
