Kate joined Access Living in 2024. Kate focuses her work on enforcing fair housing rights through individual cases, systemic cases, and policy. Prior to joining Access Living, Kate was a staff attorney in the housing practice group at Legal Aid Chicago. In this role, Kate defended subsidized housing tenants in eviction cases and subsidy termination cases. Kate also represented tenants in affirmative matters, including lockouts, source of income discrimination, and fair housing cases.

Kate received her J.D. cum laude from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2020 and her B.A. summa cum laude from Texas A&M University in 2015.
