Tim joined Access Living in 2018 as an Independent Living Skills Trainer for the Stepping Stones program. He previously worked in higher education disability services, independent living and mental health residential services, and K-12 special education. He earned his bachelor’s degree in special education from Northern Illinois University and his master’s degree in human services administration from Concordia University Chicago. As an individual with optic-nerve atrophy, Tim understands the importance of educating the disability community about the resources and opportunities available to live more independently. In 2024 he became the supervisor of the Colbert Engagement & Support Program.
