Meghann O’Leary holds a PhD in Disability Studies from the University of Illinois – Chicago. She holds a master’s degree in special education from the University of New Mexico and a bachelor’s in English literature from Vassar College. She has been actively involved in planning and promoting disability arts and culture events in Chicago for the past five years. She previously worked for the disability arts and culture organization Bodies of Work, an international network of artists and organizations whose art showcases and celebrates the disability experience. She is excited to continue this work as a coordinator of the Art and Culture Project at Access Living.
