Jacob Ringer has spent his career trying to improve the community in and around the City of Chicago. He
believes the most change and impact a person can make is at the local level. After time working in government,
politics, lobbying, innovation, real-estate, and non-partisan election reform he partnered with celebrated
neighborhood chef Mitch Kim, who has operated in Lincoln Park for over 20 years, to create Sushi Hall, an
acclaimed neighborhood restaurant. Sushi Hall was voted a top sushi restaurant by Reader Magazine. Jacob is
an active volunteer in Lincoln Park, where he lives with his wife Dana and their three children.
