As she faced the end of her life, Marca’s desire was to put in motion an effort to create a permanent endowed chair for the CEO of Access Living. She considered it essential to her legacy to build Access Living’s endowment and assure necessary funding for the future leaders of the organization she founded. Shortly before Marca’s death, one of our longtime Benefactors gave Marca the serene knowledge that she could count on a gift of $500,000 to seed this new endowment, which we have now named the Marca Bristo Legacy Chair.
