Don't miss our Community Dinner on May 22!

May 20, 2025 | by Amber Smock

Have you attended Access Living’s Community Dinner series yet? Join us on Thursday, May 22 for a FREE dinner and community time! At Community Dinner, we eat and chat, meeting new friends and welcoming old ones. Anyone of any age can attend Access Living’s Community Dinner. Since this month is Asian American/Pacific Islander Heritage Month, our dinner will be from the Korean restaurant BiBiBop.

Here is what you need to know: RSVPs for Community Dinner are REQUIRED! We have a maximum number of spots, so we want to make sure we don’t go over capacity (which means less accessibility and less food). RSVPs are submitted ONLY at this link. When the RSVP form hits its limit, it will close. We want to be prepared for accessibility and food needs. Questions may be directed to Jerome at jpalliser@accessliving.org.

Date: Thursday, May 22
Time: 5:30-7:30 pm
Location: Access Living, 115 W. Chicago Avenue, Chicago Illinois

Those who arrive early and who have RSVP’d will be guided to a waiting area. You must have RSVP’d on the website link to attend. It’s okay to ask a friend or Access Living staffer to fill out the online form for you. We look forward to welcoming you!

Important Change to Community Dinner: Our monthly dinner events have been very popular, but it takes a lot of work to coordinate them behind the scenes. Thus, we will be doing Community Dinner EVERY OTHER MONTH. The next Community Dinner, after the dinner on Thursday, May 22, will be on July 24. Keep an eye out for the registration link for the July dinner.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Community Dinner so far this year!
