Kristin Weaver

 

Kristin has spent her career helping clients and their families successfully implement a financial plan that supports their long-term personal objectives. She has assisted people with disabilities in navigating the court processes surrounding guardianship estates and established special needs trusts. At present, she is advising families with generational wealth. Kristin received bachelors’ degrees in English literature and Spanish from Kenyon College and her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Kristin has 20 years of experience as a trust advisor at Northern Trust. She has presented legal education for the Chicago Bar, the Chicago Estate Planning Council, and the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education. works with high net worth individuals and their families to evaluate financial sufficiency while maximizing estate planning objectives. She assists clients with plan review as tax laws change and families’ needs evolve and helps coordinate updates with counsel and tax preparers. Kristin is a board member and Resource Development Committee chair of Access Living and is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and Chicago Estate Planning Council. She is also a member of Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, volunteering in her community, and spending time outdoors with her husband and two young boys.
