Ginger is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher working in physically integrated dance in the Chicago area. Until she retired in 2019, Ginger coordinated the Access Living Arts & Culture Project.

Prior to joining Access Living in 2008, Ginger worked for Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (now the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab) in a variety of roles. She provided peer support services through individualized counseling and support groups, and developed and conducted Disability Awareness Trainings for business and government entities in Chicago. She helped found the Women with Disabilities Center and was co-manager of the Women and Spinal Cord Project.

She served on the AbilityLab board of directors for 15 years. She was named one of the 2017 recipients of the 3Arts Award and was grand marshal of Chicago’s 2019 Disability Pride Parade.
