Carleda is an emerging leader and advocate in the disability community. She graduated from Chicago State University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and joined Access Living in 2008. Carleda provides a host of tools and services to consumers with disabilities and has been instrumental in growing Access Living’s Financial Stability Program, which teaches consumers how to manage their own money. Carleda has established relationships with more than 15 banks and community partners to help consumers open checking and savings accounts. She is also a Certified Financial Education instructor.
