SUMMARY:Unveiling Party: DISABLED I AM Story Map Project
DESCRIPTION:Access Living is proud to host the Unveiling Party of DISABLED I AM’s Story Map project. Come and share your disability stories. We will celebrate disability through a mixture of art and socializing activities\, including a photo booth\, creating your own personalized avatar\, and button making. \n\n\n\nAll attendees will learn experiences and tales of disability pride from people with disabilities living in each ward of Chicago. The goal is for aldermen\, community members\, and stakeholders to not only learn about disabled people in their wards\, but also learn about the disability culture within each ward and barriers to essential resources\, services\, and rights that people with disabilities face in their wards. We hope to see you there! \n\n\n\nASL interpreters and CART captioning provided.
