April 1, 2020 @ 6:00 PM 8:30 PM

Out of an abundance of care for our community we have decided to move our Weekly Inclusive Dance Workshops online at least through our April 1 meeting. For our March 18 and April 1st meetings, we plan to meet online using Google Hangouts. Although we realize that there will be some access needs to work through in an online workshop format, we are excited about the new possibilities this online space offers our collective dancemaking practices and hope to offer a source of social connection to our community in a time when we are all taking necessary and important steps to isolate ourselves.

We hope you will join us for our first online meeting next Wednesday, March 18 at 6:30 pm using the information included below. We will be using Google Hangouts Meet, which has captioning built into the platform (Learn about accessing captioning in Google Hangouts here:…), and plan to lead everyone through simple movement exercises that can be performed in a small space, watch and discuss disability dance videos and generally be in community with one another. This platform can be used on phone, computer or tablet and dancers are welcome to call in, if they cannot/prefer not to join using video. We are happy to answer any questions about access, this new format, or any other concerns!
