Access Living tries very hard to keep this list updated, revising it monthly.

    Access Living is not a residential center.

    In your housing search, we can assist you in the following ways:

    • Assist you with free legal advice and possible representation if you believe you have been discriminated against because of your disability in your search for housing. If you believe you have been a victim of housing discrimination due to your disability, please call our Legal Intake line at 312-640-2106.
  • Providing you with a list of subsidized units.

      Housing stock in Chicago changes frequently. The housing providers listed indicated they have waiting lists, but that may change. We advise that you be persistent, call often to find out if a waiting list is open and place your name on all open lists.

      Some providers know about Access Living's efforts to assist individuals with disabilities find adequate housing and send us notices about when they will open their waiting list. Some providers also send us rental applications for us to give out. During the summer months we send an average of almost 500 housing lists per month to people that are seeking subsidized or low-income housing.
