Ravi Kasi is currently an Attending Physician and Assistant Residency Program Director at RUSH University Medical Center. He specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) working in an acute inpatient rehabilitation center at RUSH in addition to outpatient clinics focusing on patient’s with traumatic brain injury, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, chronic pain, back pain, and peripheral joint diseases. In addition to his clinical duties, Ravi actively conducts research and lectures for residents, therapists, and students in the medical center.
Ravi became inspired to be involved with disability advocacy through his experiences with his patients who were acclimating to their environments with their new disabilities. He has been a part of the Young Professional Council since 2013 and is currently serving his 2nd term as co-President with Alli Luft since early 2014.
Ravi is a life long Illinois native who spent the majority of his childhood in Wheaton, IL before moving to Chicago as an adult to being his secondary education at the University of Illinois at Chicago (undergraduate & medical school).
