Evelyn Glennie performs with Sao Paulo Orchestra

On Monday, October 12, 1,100 people filed into the Harris Theater in Chicago for a performance of Dame Evelyn Glennie with the Sao Paulo Orchestra.

The performance, brought to Chicago through a collaboration between the Harris Theater and Access Living’s Art’s and Culture Initiative, was a rousing success, earning praise from fans, first timers and critics.

In addition to providing a magnificent evening of music, the event helped bring attention to Access Living’s Arts & Culture Initiative, designed to give voice to artists with disabilities and raise awareness around disability culture.
