Applications for ADA 25 Advancing Leadership are now open. Advancing Leadership is the new name of the Leadership Institute for People with Disabilities, which was launched in 2015 as a legacy project of ADA 25 Chicago. The first group included 25 members, one third of which are now engaged in civic positions.

Please share this call for nominations with your networks. The deadline is August 31.

The first diversity, equity, and inclusion program of its kind in the nation, our mission is to create a pipeline and network of leaders with disabilities deeply engaged in the civic life of the Chicago region and advancing in their careers. The 2015 inaugural Fellows and Members are already increasing their engagement and serving on advisory committees, boards and other leadership positions.

The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of leadership and/or management experience in any context, demonstrated leadership skills and a passion for engagement in civic life.
