Many thanks for everyone who supported and attended Access Living’s 2016 “Lead On!” Gala, themed “Sweet Home Chicago.” On June 16, more than 570 people attended the annual fundraiser and celebration, which builds support for Access Living Programs.

At each gala, in addition to raising money for services, Access Living presents individuals and organizations that have increased the empowerment and inclusion of people with disabilities with the “Lead On!” Award. The award is named after Justin Dart, Jr., a pioneer of disability rights who ended every speech with explanation, “Lead On!” This year, Access Living presented three awards to local organizations, LCM Architects, Rush University Medical Center, and ADA 25 Chicago and the Chicago Community Trust. For each honoree, Access Living created a tribute video. The links to the videos can be found below.
