Action Alert: Ride Share Ordinance in City Council

Please contact members of the Chicago City Council at this link to urge them to support the Beale rideshare ordinance, which contains provisions to enhance services for people with disabilities. Rideshare giants like Uber and Lyft are spending millions of dollars to obliterate this ordinance. It really matters for the aldermen to hear from you. A joint committee of the Committee on Transportation and Public Way, and the Committee on Licensing and Consumer Protection, will vote on this ordinance at on Friday.

Also, in addition to the action alert above, please make calls to these three council members. Urge their support for people with disabilities and for the ordinance. They are also on the committee and are undecided on the ordinance.

As a follow up to the Action Alert below and to the announcement at the staff meeting, please make three phone calls today. The calls are to three members of the city council. Urge these council members to support Alderman Beale’s Rideshare Ordinance. They are on the committee that is voting tomorrow:

The Council Members are:

Marty Quinn, 13th Ward, 773-581-1313
Matthew O’Shea, 19th Ward, 773238-8766
Gilbert Villegas, 36th Ward, 773-745-4636

Thanks for your support.
