On July 26, 2015, the disability community will celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, the landmark civil rights law that has opened doors of opportunity and access for people with disabilities across the country.
In the spirit of the 25th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, ADA 25 Chicago is bringing together partners to build new initiatives that will leave a lasting legacy of accessible, opportunity, and awareness.
Though the Anniversary has passed, the celebrations, and the work to improve inclusion, continues. Check out the ADA 25 Chicago Website to learn about some of the anniversary projects and check out what is going on in Chicago around the anniversary.
