Kelsey Watters is an occupational therapist (OT) who works at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC) on the pediatric unit and the adult brain injury unit. Each day, she works with her patients to encourage each person's independence and facilitate their active participation in their families and communities. When Kelsey, first learned about Access Living and the YPC, she was intrigued by the unique approach Access Living took to advocacy for people with disabilities - an inclusive and empowering approach led by people with disabilities that encouraged individuals to be active participants in their communities. Kelsey is a transplant to Chicago, moving to the Midwest from the Pacific Northwest. She completed her bachelor's degree in San Diego and her master's degree in Seattle. She enjoys spending time riding her bike, cooking, being outside and exploring the dynamic neighborhoods of Chicago. She is currently the secretary for YPC.
