Do you have difficulty doing simple tasks at home like cooking your own food, grocery shopping or keeping your home clean?

Were you rejected for in-home services for reasons such as not having Medicaid?

Could you benefit from Assistive Technology that could support you in self care such as bathing and using the toilet independently?

Call the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD) at (312) 744 6673 to get the tools you’ll need to stay independent in your home! The Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities can offer homemaker/personal assistant services (for a dollar an hour), assistive technology and case management for people living in Chicago with disabilities who are not receiving services from DHS’s Department of Rehabilitation.
