Trainings on Disability Civil Rights
Civil Rights and Legal staff members regularly provide formal presentations on the civil rights of people with disabilities. Audiences include government officials, educators, architects, developers, realtors, students, consumers and business leaders. A memorable by-product of the advocacy-related activities of the team is the education of the public, particularly when staff members attend meetings, participate on committees, negotiate with public entities and provide legal representation.
