Financial Stability Group

For people with disabilities who are working to improve employment, credit and homeownership opportunities for themselves and for other people with disabilities.

The Financial Stability Group at Access Living collaborates with partners in the community and beyond to increase outreach to people with disabilities and coordinates a support group around credit and asset issues.

Contact Access Living now to get involved. The group uses the FDIC national financial education curriculum Money Smart. Money Smart is a comprehensive financial education curriculum designed to help low- and moderate-income individuals outside the financial mainstream enhance their financial skills and create positive banking relationships. This is a 11 week course. This program is designed to help you improve your financial knowledge and stability relating to money management. In addition to the classes you will also work with the facilitator one-on-one to develop a financial recovery plan to improve your overall financial stability.
