Staff attorneys can represent consumers in important disability rights cases. These cases assume many forms, including class-action lawsuits on behalf of a large group of people with disabilities; individual lawsuits that educate the courts and the public about important disability rights issues; and cases that present an opportunity to reform the law in a manner that broadly benefits the disability community.
