Rally to protect services for people with disabilities Governor Quinn has pledged to take the disability community down the track toward independence and inclusion, and has suggested that the proposed FY 2012 Budget reflects that commitment. Yet, specifics within the proposed FY 2012 Budget indicate a cut to services that support people with disabilities living in the community and indicate a threat to the independence of people with disabilities.
