If you are a person with a disability (intellectual, physical, behavioral, emotional) who is either lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, questioning, or non–identifying, you are invited to attend a monthly support group to share your experiences and build community with others.

This group is not meeting at Access Living at this time.

Issues affecting seniors and people with disabilities often overlap, and Access Living has built coalitions with senior groups in order to achieve common goals. Over the past few years, Access Living has partnered with Metro Seniors in Action and the Jane Addams Senior Caucus, as well as individuals with the senior community, on issues such as Social Security, Long-Term Health Care, Housing and Transportation.

(This program is not offered at this time) Home Again ProgramTransitioning Seniors Back to the CommunityThe Home Again Program offers assistance in leaving nursing homes for people over the age of 60. The program helps people to move into a furnished apartment after leaving the nursing home and provides case management as the person adjusts to community living.Read More Jun 18th, 2008
