Wise Mind Group for adults with developmental disabilities

The new group begins in March 2013 at the UIC Developmental Disabilities Family Clinics.

The group start date/time is TBD. The group will be ongoing so new participants can join anytime after the start date.

Group will focus on dialectal behavior therapy (DBT) skills,
such as:

-- Mindfulness (letting go of the past and staying focused on the
present)
-- Distress Tolerance/Emotional Regulation
-- Building and Maintaining Relationships
-- Individual sessions and caregiver support to reinforce DBT skills

Eligible Participants: Adults (18 and over) with developmental disabilities, difficulty regulating emotion and persistent relationship conflict

Cost: We accept private insurance and sliding scale fee for clients with Medicaid
