The doorway had to be automatic and at street-level. No steps. Automatic sensors open automatic sliding doors. If additional assistance is required, a second door actuator at the reception desk operates the door.

The entrance vestibule has automatic sliding doors -- Two on the exterior and two on the interior. Each door leaf is at least 36” wide, providing a total clear opening of 6’-0”. This dimension allows two wheelchairs to conveniently pass in opposite directions.

To allow all doors to be open at the same time, an air curtain supplemented with addition heat at entrance interior has been employed.
