Heat-tracing along the Chicago Ave. entrance sidewalk and ramps reduces issues with snow and ice.

Raised grooves at the ends of the sidewalk indicate alley and street entrances. Several levels of drop-off ramps at curbside and the outside sidewalk ease movement, and the well-lit straight path to the building’s entrance is marked with tactile cues, all the way through the automatic doors to the reception desk.

Outdoor lighting has been selected to eliminate or reduce light pollution to the surrounding areas and buildings.
