Reaching Our Dreams
Independent Living Skills training program empowers youth with skills to live independently
Group Meets Bi Weekly
Many young people with disabilities need assistance in the same areas:
time and money management;
dealing with their parents;
and some basic issues like communication skills and hygiene.
Reaching Our Dreams was developed as a way to help youth develop skills that will enable them to become independent and more invested in planning for their futures.
Reaching Our Dreams’ goal is to shatter the traditional way of presenting information and replace it with a new interactive approach to learning and applying skills.
Reaching Our Dreams is showing youth that their disability does not encumber their dreams and showing youth how to live independently.
Our meeting schedule for the next few weeks of 2013 is as follows:
time and money management;
dealing with their parents;
